China clearly gains the upper hand over US interests in Strategy and Commerce
The recent meeting between President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping aimed to address the strained relations between the two countries.
While the meeting did not result in immediate resolutions to the geopolitical issues dividing the two nations, it was seen as a positive step towards easing tensions and maintaining open communication.
China has gained the upper hand in the equation against US both in Strategic and Commercial terms.
At least that exactly is what is seen as a solid outcome of the current meeting between Biden and Xi in sidelines of APEC meeting in San Fransisco.
Both leaders discussed various topics, including military cooperation, climate, Taiwan, and territorial disputes in the South China Sea.
The meeting was significant in providing an opportunity for both leaders to engage in dialogue and work towards understanding each other’s perspectives, despite the existing differences.
The outcome of the meeting suggests that while the U.S. and China continue to have differences, US willingness to engage in dialogue is forced by Chinese in Strategic as well as commercial terms.
China has displayed it ability to not only control Global trade, but as well to curtail any counter measures by US, by successfully galvanizing its leverage in Middle East against Israel and US.
As a result of Chinese manipulations, US ended up in seeking the current dialogue at the cost of ceding a part of its political and economic domination, in exchange of its ability for real time communication with Chinese policy makers.
